Selected applicants come from 18 different African countries, including two not previously represented on the programme: Togo and Sierra Leone.
Meet the 2026/2027 Mastercard Foundation Scholars.
Spread across 22 Colleges and 33 distinct academic programmes, this fifth cohort reflects the programme's continued growth since its pioneering cohort of 16 Scholars in 2022.
