Caroline Moserega Mwita is a Civil Engineer from Kenya with six years of experience in delivering road and weighbridge infrastructure to ensure highway maintenance and improve mobility.
At the University of Cambridge, Caroline will deepen her expertise in climate-resilient infrastructure design. Through her research, she will focus on exploring ways to integrate climate adaptation into road design and policy while seeking to explore and understand the role of sustainable materials and pavement technologies in mitigating climate-related road deterioration.
Caroline is keen to develop a climate risk and resilience matrix for Kenya to guide road planning in the face of climate change. Post-graduation, she plans to lead efforts in championing resilient transport solutions across Kenya and influencing policy reforms that embed sustainability into infrastructure development.
