Courage Ssewanyana is an Associate at DLA Piper Africa, Uganda, specialising in Employment and Non-Profits Organizations Practice. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Makerere University, Kampala, where he graduated as valedictorian, and obtained his Bar qualification from the Law Development Centre in Kampala.
Over the years, he has worked with refugee and forced migration centres in Uganda and is passionate about developing a human-rights-based, sustainable refugee-hosting model in Uganda and across Africa.
Courage is pursuing a Master of Law (LLM). His research interest lies at the intersection of forced migration and international law.
