Favour Uzoma
About
Favour Chimamaka Uzoma is a Nigerian educator committed to advancing sustainable education across Africa.
She is pursuing an MPhil in Education, Globalisation, and International Development (EGID) and holds a First Class BA. Ed degree in Education English from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.
As an advocate of sustainable education, she has worked in rural and urban schools and volunteered with non-governmental organisations focused on improving the quality of education in Africa.
Her research aims to explore how climate change influences teacher migration in Nigeria and examines how solutions such as green school infrastructure and educational technology can support the retention of quality teachers.
She hopes to use her Cambridge experience to shape more equitable education systems across Africa and the world at large.
