Gideon Darko
About
Gideon Darko holds a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana.
He is passionate about plant health, food security, and climate change. He served as a Teaching and Research Assistant in the Plant Pathology lab at the Department of Crop and Soil Sciences in KNUST, assisting in teaching and supervising undergraduate research projects in Mycology, Plant Pathology, and Plant Disease Control.
He has also engaged in numerous leadership training programs including the Aspire Leaders Program from Harvard Business School and YALI West Africa Emerging Leadership Program.
Gideon is pursuing an MPhil in Biological Sciences (Crop Science). After his MPhil, he intends to return to Ghana to contribute to ongoing efforts addressing agricultural challenges in the nation.
