Habiba Abdelshakour

Habiba Abdelshakour holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics. She is passionate about tackling energy inequality and shaping inclusive, data-driven policies that foster climate resilience and equitable growth across Africa and the Global South. 

Her academic interests sit at the intersection of sustainable development, energy security, and global political economy.  

Habiba is pursuing an MPhil in Development Studies and is committed to leveraging evidence-based policymaking to address structural challenges and advance sustainable transformation.  

At Cambridge, she is excited to deepen her research, collaborate with a global network of changemakers, and contribute to reimagining just and sustainable energy futures for the continent.
