Ifeoma Medebem
About
Ifeoma Medebem is a programme manager from Nigeria who graduated as the Best Graduating Student in the 2021 cohort of the Department of Agricultural and Environmental Engineering at the University of Ibadan.
Passionate about leveraging technology to address environmental challenges, Ifeoma has led cross-functional teams to develop smart trade solutions aimed at reducing the carbon footprint of the banking sector. She has also worked on financial inclusion projects focused on digitizing access for the unbanked by reducing reliance on cash and its environmental impact.
Ifeoma is pursuing an MPhil in Quantitative Climate and Environmental Science. After her MPhil, she hopes to work at the intersection of environmental policy and advocacy, with a focus on grassroots communities where systemic change is critical for building a sustainable future in Africa.
