Kalkidan Angecha
About
Kalkidan Angecha is a medical doctor and public health professional from Ethiopia. She earned a bachelor's degree in Medicine, and a master’s degree in General Public Health from Addis Ababa, and Jimma University respectively.
As a clinician and public health professional, she has played several different roles in Ethiopia in addressing health issues including tuberculosis. She has worked in a primary hospital and with local and international NGOs.
Kalkidan is pursuing an MPhil in Population Health Science, specialising in Global health. She wishes to deepen her knowledge of health issues from a global perspective. Upon her return to Africa, she hopes to devise innovative ways to tackle health problems efficiently in resource-limited environments.
