About
Kelvin Muti Karanja is a research scientist from Kenya. He earned a first class honours degree in Biochemistry from the University of Nairobi, where he received multiple awards for academic excellence and was honoured as the best graduating student in his department.
His research interests lie in regenerative medicine and its potential to address non-communicable diseases, particularly those prevalent in Africa. Kelvin is determined to bridge the gap between research and accessible healthcare in low resource settings.
He is pursuing an MPhil in Stem Cell Medicine and believes Africa has both the talent and the ability to lead in innovative biomedical research.
Following his studies, he aims to contribute to stem cell research in Kenya, mentor the next generation of scientists, and establish initiatives that expand access to stem cell therapies.
