Margaret Ogachi
About
Margaret Bogomba Ogachi is an Urban and Regional Planner from Kenya. Previously, she served as an urban planner under the UN-Habitat Programme for West Africa, where she supported a diverse portfolio spanning 16 countries.
In her role, Margaret contributed to the development of spatial strategies for organisations and national governments including the African Development Bank, The Gambia, Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger and Nigeria. These experiences deepened her understanding of how spatial planning directly informs strategic investments and serves as a foundation for sustainable development.
Margaret is studying for an MPhil in Public Policy and aims to build expertise in policy analysis, governance frameworks, and applied research. Her aspiration is to contribute meaningfully to shaping inclusive public policies, first in Kenya, then across the African continent, and ultimately on a global scale.
