Olubusolami Sogunle is a Nigerian software engineer and community builder with a deep interest in how cutting-edge technologies, especially AI, can serve African contexts.
Graduating with First Class Honours in Computer Science from Covenant University, Nigeria, she was named Best Graduating Student in both her department and college.
She actively engages with pan-African tech communities, contributing to initiatives that have supported thousands of technologists. She is a past recipient of the Generation Google Scholarship for Women in Computer Science and the NNPC/Total National Merit Scholarship.
Pursuing MPhil in Machine Learning and Machine Intelligence, Olubusolami’s interest explores the intersection of language, AI, and social impact, with a focus on building systems that are locally grounded and globally relevant. Passionate about digital inclusion, her research will explore how AI and multilingual technologies can support climate resilience and improve access to vital information.
