Promise Ugochukwu
About
Promise Chimuanya Ugochukwu is a Medical Doctor and Dietitian from Nigeria who holds a first class BSc in Human Nutrition and Dietetics degree where she was the Best Graduating Student.
She also holds an MB, BS from the University of Ibadan where she received the Princess (Dr.) J.A Olowu Memorial Prize for the Best Student in Neonatology.
Promise has years of clinical and community experience in rural and urban settings in Lagos and Ibadan, where she witnessed the disparities in healthcare and effects that communities and health systems have on morbidity and mortality.
Promise is studying for an MPhil in Population Health Sciences and is particularly interested in helping create sustainable and resilient changes in emergency care and health outcomes for vulnerable populations. Through her studies, she hopes to gain essential research, technical, and advocacy skills to achieve positive change.
