Rhoda Nyarko
About
Rhoda Adjoa Nyarko is a scholar from Ghana, passionate about creating better-planned and equitable communities. She graduated as the Best Real Estate student from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), earning top awards from the Ghana Institution of Surveyors and Broll Ghana Limited.
As the first female Vice President of the Land Management and Development Student Association in KNUST, she championed student welfare, academic excellence and women in leadership.
Growing up in a community affected by poor planning and environmental challenges has fuelled her mission to lead change. Rhoda is pursuing an MPhil in Planning, Growth and Regeneration and her goal is to use her expertise to transform vulnerable communities in the Global South through sustainable planning and inclusive development policies.
She hopes to accelerate progress on the UN Sustainable Development Goal 11 (Sustainable cities and communities) in Ghana and beyond.
