Sameh Salama
About
Sameh Salama is a judge at the Egyptian Council of State (Egypt’s Administrative Court). He was appointed by Egypt’s President to serve in the Egyptian judiciary in recognition of his academic excellence.
He graduated summa cum laude from the Cairo University School of Law (English Section) and as the valedictorian of his Bachelor of Law class. He is among the highest award recipients in the school’s history with five Cairo University Medals of Honour and over sixty excellence awards.
Sameh is pursing an LLM and will explore how a legal framework on environmental goods and services (EGS) can be introduced within the African Continental Free Trade Area Agreement (AfCFTA). His ultimate pursuit is to achieve sustainable inter-Africa investments, access to green climate finance, protection of vulnerable communities, and enhancing Africa’s legal policies against climate change repercussions.
