Tadalisika Zulu
About
Tadalisika Zulu, from Zambia, graduated with an Honours degree in Civil Engineering from Wuhan University of Technology, China.
She worked as Clerk of Works while constructing the China-Aided International Conference Centre in Lusaka, representing the Zambian government. She later joined the Ministry of Infrastructure, Housing and Urban Development as a Structural Engineer.
Passionate about social impact, Tadalisika has participated in initiatives advancing climate action, gender equality, and community resilience. As a Rotaract Club of Lusaka member, she has taken part in numerous projects aimed at supporting vulnerable groups. She is especially committed to promoting gender balance by empowering women and girls to pursue careers in STEM-related fields.
She is pursuing an MPhil in Engineering for Sustainable Development, focusing her research on integrating sustainability assessments into design and construction to promote sustainable urbanisation. Her goal is to develop sustainable and resilient public infrastructure systems in Zambia.
