Theophilus Adu-Gyamfi
About
Theophilus Adu-Gyamfi is a research scientist at the West Africa Centre for Crop Improvement (WACCI), University of Ghana, Legon. He will be pursuing an MPhil in Biological Sciences (Crop Science) at the University of Cambridge. He obtained his bachelor's degree in Agriculture at the University of Ghana, where he was named the overall Best Graduating Student in the School of Agriculture for the 2019/2020 academic year. Theophilus is interested in the study of Plant Sciences focused on using molecular and biotechnology tools to develop food systems and climate-smart agricultural crop plants to bring transformation to Ghana's agricultural systems. After his MPhil Program at Cambridge, he intends to return to Ghana to be an effective advocate for African Crop Improvement initiatives.
