Amina W. Baba-Ari is an associate at a leading public health consultancy in Nigeria and holds a BSc in Biotechnology. She will be pursuing an MPhil in Population Health Sciences. Amina's interests lie at the intersection of changing environments, politics, and human health, with a particular focus on antibiotic resistance.
She has worked on projects to provide access to finance for healthcare businesses and to support the informal health sector. Her work spans health areas including HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH), and assessing pandemic preparedness in Nigeria and Kenya. Amina aims to collaborate with international organizations and governments to sustainably improve health outcomes for vulnerable populations, especially those affected by climate change.
