Ndey Mariam Ndiaye is an engineering student from The Gambia who is passionate about environmental conservation and sustainable development. She will be studying for an MPhil in Engineering for Sustainable Development at the University of Cambridge. Ndey aims to focus her research project on developing innovative, practical and sustainable engineering practices and solutions to tackle complex engineering problems that will allow us to live within the limits of our environmental resources, and subsequently contribute to tackling Climate Change and its effects. She is committed to improving the engineering sector in both The Gambia and Africa as a whole.
