Petra Mariaria is an Environmental (Public) Health scholar from Kenya who is passionate about improving health outcomes for vulnerable communities. She will be pursuing an MPhil in Population Health Sciences at the University of Cambridge. Her research project aims to examine how health systems can be strengthened to improve their adaptability and resilience to climate change. She is interested in exploring how a multi-sectoral approach can be used to curb climate change’s impacts on health. Petra is committed to making a positive contribution to the health sector in Kenya and beyond through contributions and networks from local and global channels.
