Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program

 

Grace is a dedicated registered social worker serving as the Wellbeing Lead for the Mastercard Foundation Program and Student Wellbeing Advisor in the central Student Support Centre at the University of Cambridge. In her MCF role, she oversees the MCF Peer Mentoring Program, facilitates wellbeing initiatives for MCF scholars, conducts scholar check-ins, and serves as a primary point of contact for MCF scholars and peer mentors, assisting them in navigating wellbeing related challenges and inquiries.

With a background in social work, Grace brings a wealth of experience to her position. Before joining Cambridge University, she completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Bath and later transitioned to Cambridge to work as a Children and Families Safeguarding Social Worker. Her professional journey has also included roles in specialist drug and alcohol support, domestic abuse, and wellbeing services.

Passionate about employing a person-centred and evidence-informed approach, Grace is committed to supporting students in feeling listened to, empowered, and supported throughout their journey at Cambridge. Her dedication to student wellbeing and empowerment underscores her mission to ensure that every student can make the most of their academic and personal experiences at the university.
