Caroline Akello is a Ugandan meteorologist from Makerere University who will be pursuing an MPhil in Quantitative Climate and Environmental Science. She has previously worked as a Regional Administrator at Uganda Breweries Limited and a Climate Resilience Specialist at the National Water & Sewerage Corporation. From a region that was affected by the Lord’s Resistance Army war, Caroline has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to addressing environmental challenges. By Undertaking this course, she aims to utilize climate data to pioneer solutions for climate change, uplifting vulnerable African communities and fostering sustainability worldwide.
