Michael Lesecha is a wildlife conservationist from Tanzania who will be pursuing an MPhil in Conservation Leadership. He brings broad experience of working with both governmental and non-governmental wildlife conservation organizations.
His current position and expertise make him pivotal in aligning conservation efforts in Tanzania with organizational commitments. The inadequate understanding and addressing of agro-pastoral dynamics as a main driver of human-wildlife conflicts is his major interest.
Michael hopes to gain important leadership and coordination skills that will enable him work and coordinate with multisectoral disciplines to address this issue in the country and elsewhere.
