Peace Chisom Aniakor is a filmmaker from Nigeria who will be pursuing an MPhil in Film and Screen Studies. She has a BA in Theatre Arts from the University of Abuja, Nigeria, finishing as the first woman to graduate with a first class in her department's 31-year history. She has directed Films and Stage-Plays that champion personal and communal growth/development. Prior to Cambridge, Peace volunteered with a non-profit that sends disadvantaged children to school, and through her studies hope to learn how to engender conversations around films that drive sustainable development in Africa in a rapidly evolving world.
