Ayikoru Comfort is a Medical Doctor from Uganda. Comfort will pursue an MPhil in Population Health Sciences. She earned her Bachelor’s in Medicine and Surgery from Mbarara University on a Government scholarship for her outstanding performance. Dedicated to Maternal and Child Health, she co-founded BuriCare Limited, garnering awards like Startupper of the Year, HIHA student innovation award and the African Women in Development Award (AWID) 2024. As a Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) alumna, she aims to utilize her Cambridge education to advance global health research and innovation, aiming to influence policy development upon her return to Africa.
