Bantee Desmond will be pursuing an MPhil in Development Studies. He recently completed a degree in Land Economy at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, graduating as the valedictorian of the College of Art and Built Environment and honoured with the Surveyor Professor Ebenezer Acquaye Academic Excellence Award from the Ghana Institution of Surveyors. He previously participated in an Erasmus + Scholarship, completing studies in Management and Technology from the Technical University of Munich, Germany.
Desmond has served in various leadership roles and volunteered in non-profit organizations such as the Educational Pathways International and TUM eMpower Africa. His research interests lie at the intersection of development economics, technology, sustainable finance and environmental systems.
