Christianah Oseni is a Nigerian passionate about driving sustainability, food security, and improving smallholder farmers' livelihoods. She will be pursuing an MPhil in Biological Sciences (Crop Science). She holds a Bachelor of Agriculture from Obafemi Awolowo University, where she received the Faculty award for the overall best-graduating student. Her research focuses on addressing climate change's impact on smallholder agricultural production. With experience from IITA, Nigeria, she’s interested in developing climate-resilient crop varieties. After her MPhil, she plans to specialize in molecular breeding techniques to identify resilient genes, accelerate crop improvement, and ensure sustainable food security and environment.
