Elizabeth Atiru completed a BSc Land Economy degree at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Ghana as the best graduating female student. After her studies, she continued as a Research and Teaching Assistant at the Department of Land Economy. Elizabeth is a believer in inclusive community development, a commitment she has demonstrated through her leadership and service in Lions Clubs International.

Elizabeth will be pursuing an MPhil in Planning, Growth and Regeneration. Her research interests span smart city technologies in urban regeneration and slum upgrading. She aspires to contribute to the African Union Agenda 2063 Goal 7, which aims to foster environmentally sustainable and climate-resilient economies and communities.
