Merna Nomier is an Egyptian Electromechanical Engineer who will be pursing an MPhil in Energy Technologies. She graduated from Alexandria University with the dream to help underprivileged communities in Africa, to have access to clean energy. With enough energy, she believes that African's endless potential will be unleashed.
She began her career as a turbomachinery control engineer. This role allowed her to contribute to the sustainable transformation of energy industry by developing control solutions focusing on increasing efficiency of rotating equipment. She aspires to be involved in the energy industry decision-making process, promoting increased investments in clean energy.
